Australia Scout and the 2015 Asian Cup

Asian football’s biggest tournament is coming to Australia and coming to Australia Scout!

Asian football’s biggest tournament is coming to Australia and coming to Australia Scout!

The goal of our publication is to “advance and guide the development of football discourse in this country“. There will be no better opportunity to do so than with the advent of Asia’s best 16 teams on our shoes to compete in the Asian Cup. Over the next month, we’ll publish in-depth, insightful technical and tactical analysis of the tournament via:

  1. Team Previews – our team by team A-League season previews remain Australia Scout’s most popular articles of all time, and we’ll be giving all teams in the Asian Cup the same treatment! Find out about the tactics, formations and key players of each side.
  2. Match Analysis – the bread and butter of the site, we’ll post a full match analysis for each match day of the tournament. This will include our popular video analysis, with the key tactical features of each game dissected and reviewed by professional performance analyst, Tim Palmer.

We are extraordinarily excited about the prospect of covering a landmark international tournament in such detail. Please join us for the month-long journey, and show your support for Australia Scout – perhaps we should call ourselves Asian Scout? – by following us on Twitter, liking us on Facebook and subscribing to The Rondo, our weekly newsletter.
